Glacial Blue Hour

Glacial Blue Hour uses only four colors, but the range between them — from near-white glacier ice down to deep fjord blue — is wide enough to carry real atmosphere on its own. Dusk slate sits in the middle as a transitional tone, doing the work that a fifth color might otherwise handle.

It suits outdoor and adventure travel branding, cold-climate apparel, minimalist winter product photography backdrops, and any design work that wants a serene, icy mood without visual clutter. The narrow palette also makes it especially easy to apply consistently across a small brand system.

Snow white is the obvious background, with deep fjord blue providing strong, legible text contrast. Because there are only four colors, dusk slate and glacier ice can both be used more liberally than in larger palettes — dusk slate for secondary surfaces, glacier ice for highlights and hover states.
