Tea Garden
Tea Garden is a palette built on the principle of intelligent restraint. Its greens are not the saturated, assertive greens of a clover field or tropical canopy — they are the careful, cultivated greens of a managed tea garden, where every tone carries centuries of aesthetic tradition around the value of subtlety. The palette moves from the genuinely dark, slightly mossy shadow at the base of mature tea plants through the classic even-tempered green of full-growth tea leaves, through the ochre-touched warmth of a garden path, to the delicate almost-yellow of new spring shoots and ultimately to the quiet, refined pale cream of a fresh brew held up to morning light.
Tea Green, the palette's second step, is one of the most useful colors in this collection for design work that needs to communicate wellness, quality, and care without raising its voice. It avoids the bright yellow-green associations of lime and the heavy blue-green associations of sage; instead it sits in the balanced center of the green spectrum, warm enough to feel organic, muted enough to feel sophisticated. Garden Path introduces a gentle olive note that keeps the palette from becoming too monochromatically cool. This slight ochre-green warmth references the earth between the tea rows — the moss, stone, and dried grass of a working garden — and gives the palette a grounded, material quality that pure green tones alone cannot achieve.
